Soferet creating custom ketubot, restoring Torah scrolls, and teaching the art of Hebrew scribal tradition.

My work as a soferet (scribe) is rooted in a deep respect for tradition and a passion for sharing it with others. I create custom ketubot that reflect each couple’s story, restore Torah scrolls, and teach the art of Hebrew scribal practice to students of all backgrounds. Each project is an opportunity to connect people to this meaningful tradition in a way that feels personal, intentional, and enduring.

Testimonials

“Leana put such care, deep listening, and organization into the process of making our ketubah. We felt supported every step of the way and were completely blown away by the result.”

“Leana's safrut class was exactly what I was looking for—a hands-on course that taught students everything from aleph to tav in just a few short weeks. I'm very excited to incorporate the skills I gained in her class into my art practice, and hope to take another class with her sometime soon.”

— Goldie G.

“Leana made us a truly unique shtar, incorporating all of the elements that were important to us and making suggestions when we didn’t know what to do. I still don’t know how she managed to produce such intricate and exquisite work on such a short timeline! I’ll always be grateful that she made us this precious document.”
